Fine print

  • At Applewood CrossFit, we provide our new friends and prospective members with everything they need to know about how we achieve fitness and health with a FREE 3 day trial. This is accomplished through a three-day personal Foundations Course in which you will set a baseline for your strength and movement capabilities.
  • By completing these guided workouts one-on-one with a coach, you will learn the basics of our most common lifting movements, as well as go over important nutrition to properly fuel your body.
  • Ideally, this course will be completed in one week. We can be flexible in scheduling these hour-long classes, but the best way to space them out would be either Monday-Wednesday-Friday or Monday-Tuesday-Friday. We understand that people are busy! Please reach out with questions or concerns, and we will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs. Finally, our Foundations course should be completed individually, but may also be done with two people at a time.
  • In your first session, expect to learn how to complete: air squats, front squats, and push press.
  • Your second session will cover: nutrition, deadlifts, wall balls, and thrusters.
  • Your third and final session will teach: overhead squats, snatches, cleans, and clean-and-jerks.
  • At the end of your three-day training, you will be ready to attend and participate in any of our CrossFit classes.
  • *Seasoned CrossFit athletes new to our gym may test out of Foundations in their first session. Please make sure we know you would like to test out.
