Chris Morrison

When you’re lying in a pool of sweat after a challenging WOD cursing whoever came up with the program for the day, you can thank Coach Chris. He’ll likely be lying on the floor next to you. Coach Chris has been a lifelong athlete and his expertise comes through practicing what he preaches. He stumbled upon high intensity training during his days as a wrestler and those principles continued to influence his training philosophy a he pursued his passions of climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, skiing and fitness. When he stumbled upon CrossFit in 2012, it was a perfect fit for his needs as an athlete and provided a platform to begin sharing his experience as a coach and programmer.

Dan Canda

OWNER / DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE / TRAINER

Dan Canda has been a CrossFit athlete for three years. He has been an athlete his entire life – playing high school and college sports (wrestling, football, track and field), working on the farm, and enjoying many outdoor sports and activities. Dan originally tried out CrossFit to overcome a significant chronic knee injury that was preventing him from enjoying life. After his training helped him to overcome his injury, Dan found a love for functional fitness (he calls it “farm boy strength”) in an environment that fosters friendly competition. He particularly enjoys the workouts with gymnastics movements, but don’t tell him he might not be as good as the thinks he is at them! Outside the box, Dan is a structural engineer and is very active in his church community. Dan is married and has 4 children who require him to be active – another great reason he needs CrossFit!

Tyler Voorus

OWNER / DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP SERVICES / TRAINER

Tyler’s true passion is to serve others. He grew up in a small town in Michigan which makes him super tough. Once… Tyler almost got into a fight. Also, the last time he cried was…never. Tyler has been CrossFitting for a little over a year. Before that, He enjoyed endurance training, and has completed endurance running up to 30 miles and has an ambition to complete an ironman triathlon someday. Growing up Tyler was a three-sport athlete during high school and went on to play college baseball as well. He only trained and specialized in that one sport and continued in a traditional gym after college. He realized, after joining CrossFit, just how weak and out of shape he was. Tyler was instantly hooked. Since Tyler began CrossFitting, he has seen his strength, flexibility, power and endurance increase. He has seen incredible changes through CrossFit, and would never return to how he used to train.

Outside of the gym… Tyler married his high school sweetheart Courtney and they have two energetic kiddos, daughter Ezra who is almost 3 and son Killian who just turned 1. They enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, swimming at the pool, listening to local music and attending Colorado Rockies baseball games.
